Senior Claims Specialist (Former Employee) –  San Antonio, TXFebruary 10, 2018
I spent a lot of time with this company. When i first started it was a private company that went public and then went private again. In my opinion the management did not meet my expectations towards the end of my career there.

Temp Staffing (Former Employee) –  San Antonio, TXJanuary 28, 2018
Temp Job and contract was up. Did not get enough time to build necessary skills to become successful. Decent Job but not enough work to go around to have a sense of security to build a future with.

Favoritism and High stress at it's finest!
Customer Service Representative (Former Employee) –  San Antonio, TXJanuary 19, 2018
KCI as a company is amazing however management needs a complete overhaul. If you are looking for a company that appreciates their employees, this is not it. You are taking inbound calls from hospitals, HHA, DME's, nurses, patients, KCI representatives and placing them in the ordering system. Even though you are scheduled 8 hours, you more than likely will be asked to work over time because other employees are quitting from being burned out, personal reasons or fired. They pay is decent but for what you put up with could be more. HR does not have your back nor care and upper management. If you need a job bad or just tired of looking, this would be perfect for the money. Favoritism is extremely high with employees who's h7n there more than 5 years and they do not promote for hard work but for who you know.
Pros
Decent pay
Cons
Micromanaged, short breaks, raises small, favoritism etc

Professional Services (Former Employee) –  TexasJanuary 19, 2018
Used to be a great place to work lots of longevity. Today is a very different story. It is now very dysfunctional with a lot of nasty people who exhibit little-to-no professionalism. There is a lot of childish behavior, morale is at an all-time low and an extreme lack of a supportive, team environment.
Pros
close to my house
Cons
management inept, pettiness, clicky-ness and outright mean environment

Brenda Richardson RN (Former Employee) –  Atlanta, GAJanuary 11, 2018
The Leadership was very understanding and, delivered clear instructions on how to file, update, and record. I learned how to place records in chronological order. The Hardest Part of the job was learning about patients who were not going make it even with the wound care system. The most entertaining part of the job was learning how to correctly send mailers, learning handwriting skills. Developing critical thinking skills, and a refresher on Microsoft Excel.
Pros
free lunch
Cons
short Breaks

Management is very helpful and willing to help with work and life balance. Workplace culture is pretty relaxed. Hardest part of the job is when on road and being stuck in traffic and missing delivery window.

Good pay! No Job Security!
CADD Specialist (Former Employee) –  Houston, TXDecember 26, 2017
Upper managements are respectful and easy to work with, but lack in duties. Many talents employees were let go due to new hiring managers that have no knowledge of the company values.

There are no job security for talented and skilled employees. The employees with the biggest mouth runs the show.

There are good people working in this company, but not enough to make this company a place you want to work for. Job security is important when you have to provide for your family, and you cannot base on your performance or skill sets. The risk is not worth it even with good pay and benefits.
Pros
Good pay and benefits
Cons
No job security

Low pay job to get you by. Joke for raises. Not a career.
Field Service Representative (Former Employee) –  OhioDecember 21, 2017
Sales and constant complaining by management makes this job way more stressful then it should be. Sales is disrespectful and management does very little about it. Low paying job and the pay raise system is a joke. The worst I’ve ever seen. Some didn’t get raises while others had to wait a few months after their raises were due to receive there’s.
Pros
Coworkers and training in San Antonio
Cons
Low pay, no real raises, management whining all the time, sales being disrespectful

Seem to me people of a certain color were the only ones that were able to advance. Everything in there was depending on yourself to learn how to use their system and meet their expectations.

It's a great company. They use to have a Christian connection that brought a lot of people to the company. As they become more national, they have pulled away from their Christian roots. But overall it is still a great place to work.
Pros
Supportive team
Cons
