About the Position
This assignment will be responsible for, but not limited to, facilitating the operation of the quality program at the assigned site through ongoing communication and training. Assignment will also ensure that all site employers meet set standards and comply with company policies and procedures in accordance with the ISO-9001:2001 based Kenco Quality Management Systems (KQMS).
Pay range - 14.00 - 16.00 per hour
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Ensures the successful implementation and/or maintenance for the KQMS at their site.
Serves as the primary point of contact at the site for Kenco Quality Systems
Reports the effectiveness of the KQMS processes or any potential quality issues as applicable to management
Facilitates and reports on the performance of KQMS at the site
Controls record keeping
Maintains an internal audit program
Manages the Corrective and Preventative Action Requests (CPARs)
Assists with Corporate Quality Audits conducted by the Quality Engineering Dept.
Miscellaneous taks as assigned by their Supervisor, General Manager, and Quality Engineering Department.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Prior exposure to food grade principles and procedures a plus
Prior experience in a quality related field, or quality program
Ability to generate reports
Maintain an acceptable attendance record
Must have excellent training skills
Ability to accurately attend to detail
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and/or one to two years' experience and/or training are required; a Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) or equivalent from a four year college is preferred.
