Productive and fun workplace, highly social atmosphere,
Senior Admissions Fellow (Former Employee) –  Gambier, OHOctober 17, 2015
As a senior I worked full time over the summer of 2012, and part-time throughout the school year, interviewing prospective students for admisison to Kenyon. A typical day involved conducting 4-5 interviews with students from all over the country and world, answering questions by parents, and conducting tours of campus if requested. My co-workers were admissions counselors as well as classmates. Incredibly enjoyable job.
Pros
fun and productive, highly social

On-campus jobs only (short hour availability)
Summer Crew (Current Employee) –  Gambier, OHJune 10, 2014
These are jobs for student workers, and many people would like some sort of income while on campus so it's hard to get many hours. It just depends on what you're doing. The college works hard with students to find some sort of job if desired. Management is strict but easy to work with.

Landscaper (Former Employee) –  Gambier OHJuly 14, 2013
I loved Kenyon college. If you know anything about landscaping and need a summer job, i highly recommend seeking this one out. You spend your day with a partner and usually drive around the college to your assigned areas and mow.
Pros
great people and 30 minute lunch.

Desktop Support Technician (Former Employee) –  Gambier, OHJanuary 31, 2013
You are on a college campus and whether a student or employee, you are treated with respect. I was kept abreast of all new software and was afforded the ability to enhance my skills as a desktop support technician. The hardest part of the job was rechecking work because of a user error. Team parties and training seminars were the most enjoyable parts of the job.
