The KEW Group is a personalized medicine company with a focus on oncology founded by leading scientists and business professionals. We use a multidisciplinary clinical approach to support decision-making in cancer care delivery. Our platform integrates patient-specific genetic data generated from next-generation sequencing with the most current knowledge of disease and therapeutics. Together these enable the delivery of optimal treatment strategies tailored to the patient. We anticipate that implementation of our strategies will result in significant improvements in cancer treatment. We are seeking motivated professionals to be a part of our new team.
The successful candidate for the Molecular Diagnostic Technician will be an integral member of the KEW Group team focused on developing and implementing advanced genetic and genomic technologies to support our strategy. The candidate will be responsible for implementing molecular biology techniques including generation and analysis of DNA sequencing data

Role Summary/Purpose: Client offers the unique opportunity to work with multi-disciplinary teams that deliver state-of-the-art solutions in healthcare ( applications portals and website) focused on usability security and privacy for end user.

Essential Responsibilities: You will:
Provide the framework of high quality design and development practices. This includes formulation in key of UX phases: ideation, interaction design and visual design.
Be a subject matter expert in the area of design and development for web, mobile, desktop and tablet apps.
Ability to multitask and manage multiple small to large projects in a cross-functional environment.
Write and speak as a thought leader for high quality software development through a focus of UX.
Research and define patterns and libraries that support a well-designed user interface on all of Client's software products. Work with various engineering teams to support adoption of these practices.
Lead and contribute to the behavioral design and information design of CLIENT’s next-generation software products and services.
Collaborate with the interaction designers and user interface developers to create innovative, high quality user interface designs for software programs.
Collaborate with the visual designers and interaction designers to develop extensible rapid user interface prototypes and proofs of concept for software programs.
Develop and apply methods and measurements to ensure the usefulness, usability and desirability of CLIENT’s software products and services, with a strong focus on human performance and business value.
Build relationships with CLIENT’s businesses to develop and champion differentiating design concepts.
Develop a strategy for formulation of Software Center of Excellence architecture and engineering teams to implement UI solutions that are aligned with and extend shared platforms and solutions.
Partner with software engineering teams in CLIENT’s business units to ensure compliance and compatibility with business standards, industry regulations and best practices.
Ensure the quality of the user interface implementation through appropriate documentation, validation and verification.
Research and define patterns, toolkits
Familiarity and experience with agile (scrum) development process

  • Strong commitment to delivering well-structured, well-commented and test-driven code

UX experience, Human-Computer Interaction, Human Computer, HCI, User Interface, Human Factors, Usability, JAVA, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, Web2.0, cloud hosting, APIs, system integration among others

Qualifications/Requirements:
. Masters in Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science or closely related field and least 5 years of relevant professional experience or, a BS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering with a minimum 7 years’ experience.
At least 3 years of industry experience as a UI prototype developer or front-end developer in a cross-functional UX team, delivering successfully launched software and web applications.
Experience designing applications for a variety of platforms including web, desktop and mobile
Appreciation for and understanding of all phases of human-centered design, user interface design and development, and contemporary user interface design conventions.
Hands-on expertise with back-end technology: Java, PHP, Ruby.and .Net technlogies
Hands-on expertise with services: cloud hosting, APIs, system integration.
Proven experience in developing compelling, standards-compliant user interfaces using C/C++ , .NET, JAVA, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and other web2.0 development frameworks.
Have a track record of working effectively with interaction and visual design teams to bring innovative, beautiful design concepts to life.
Is well-versed in all aspects of human-centered design and Agile development processes.
Works effectively with cross-functional teams and is able to communicate clearly with interaction and visual designers.
Needs to have outstanding communication skills.
Must be willing to travel.
Experience in an agile development process.
Visual design skills,
Formal training in user centered design, interaction design and/or UI development
Knowledge of SQL and basic data base technologies.
