Key Bank's Community development program touched the hearts of many. We gathered together with our employees, top management, and homeless people or people who were able to go from homeless to having a home, a video was projected on a large screen. The subject was a heartwarming story of a 60 year old man who had previously been living in a shelter, separated from his beloved family.
Because of Key Bank's Community Development grant money and our fundraising, he learned to become a productive member of his community. The movie showed the gentleman about to open the door to his first home. He held the key in his hand, surrounded by family. His hand was trembling with anticipation as he put the key in and opened the door. The family was overjoyed to be reunited and arrive at their first home. There wasn't a dry eye in the place!
It was a wonderful job! Unfortunately, I had to resign because of a very serious surgery. It took over a year for me to recover. After that, I moved from Seattle to Phoenix.
The good news...I'm healthy and very eager to use my talents to become an asset for a company with a mutual fit.
