Working with toddlers can be stressful. The toddlers keep you on your toes but it is well worth it. I have learned alot about children by just watching the way they play and interact. It was a great place to work. The children were a lot of fun to get to know and teach, and to watch them grow. My fellow teachers were a great pleasure to work with and to become friends with. Working for KinderCare has been both great and disheartening. I love working with the kids but sometimes I feel like the management doesn't care about the actual education, only about the flow of money. If they put energy in allowing teachers to provide great education the money would flow.

Kinder Care is great place to work if you are not looking for advancements. Its for someone who has no major bills or a family to care for. Working for Kinder Care has been a very good experience but I am looking for more now.

I would usually work 5 to 8 hours a day and I was in charge of two different age groups each day. In the mornings I would teach Pre-K and was in charge of 19 children until 2:30. At 2:30 I was in charge of the school age children, ages 5 to 12 until 6:30. I learned a lot about child develpement and behavior. I had two really good directors who truly – more...  cared about the children as well as their employees and the school itself. I had a great relationship with all my co-workers and we were an awesome team who always had each others back. The hardest part of the job was helping the children with major behavorial problems and not having a lot of support from the parents. I had quite a few children that were in foster care and had extreme anger management problems. I would get attacked or hit at least 2 to 5 times a week as well as dealing with a lot of verbal abuse. The most enjoyable part of the job was teaching my children new and exciting things and to have unconditional love from so many of them was so rewarding. – less

Kindercare Learning Centers are a great place to work. If you love children and have patience, this is one of the most rewarding jobs you can have. It is exciting to watch the children learn and have fun. Co-workers are a great help and makes the job much easier.

• Prepare meals for the children.
• Assist with ordering supplies for the center.
• Drive the children to and from school.
• During the summer drive to all the field trips.

I love to see the children happy when they learned something new

I handled administrative duties for the center, ordering supplies, supervising and supporting teachers and bus driver. Hardest part was working with many different personalities. Loved working with the children and the parents.

Working with children planing activities and watching how much they enjoy it. Helping them learn and experience new things!!! Love my coworkers couldn't of asked for better people to work with.

Many of the parents loved the way I interacted with their child (ren) and the way that I spent time teaching and caring for them. All the children knew my name and they liked when I was equally silly with them. The assistant director she was lots of fun to talk to and interact with as well.

I love working for Kindercare because the employees are great with the children and the parents.

This was a highly demanding position that required me to wear multiple hats at all times. It was rewarding in that I mastered a number of new skills quickly, and was always busy.
The job was difficult in that I really didn't have enough hours in the day to accomplish what was expected and when help was provided it was too little too late.

KinderCare is a huge corporation, who's main goal is to make money. There childcare centers are state of the art, and beautiful. They do not pay their employees well! The turn over rate is huge! They do not support their teachers, if something goes to corporate, they will fire you. KinderCare is a place to work as a teacher if you want to make a difference in a young childs life.

I love working with children and teaching and this is where, if you love both of these things, the things you love will go to die. Understaffed, poorly managed, children are moved around like cattle from class to class, no consistency.

I love working with the kids but the district manager is very picky about how the center is set up and for no reason. The center I work at is short staffed and we all work long hours.

This company has a great and supporting staff, it's under new management. I loved the diverity of the students as well as the staff.

Mangement is ever down to earth. Love how the make sure everyone is up to date with CEU's. I like how they do the training twice a year with other centers in the area. Gives you to give and take ideas from other teachers in your field.

My review is that I learned an important lesson at this job. Watch your back and do not try to accept blame for something that is not your fault (this only includes temporary management members). Also, I learned to speak up when something isn't right.
