SALES Representative for Dallas TX Metroplex

The Job:
Sell our proven line of dietary, laundry and housekeeping chemicals along with a full compliment of Restaurant equipment and supplies.

Job Description:
Sell and service existing customers and acquire new customers within your territory.

Provide light maintenance service and emergency on-site repairs of lease dish machines and chemical dispensers. GOOD TO KNOW: THIS IS SOMETIMES A PHYSICAL JOB. YOU MUST BE ABLE TO LIFT 50 LIBS (OR MORE) AND WORK IN TIGHT CRAWL SPACES, WHEN DOING REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE WORK ON EQUIPMENT.

Inspect lease equipment and compile monthly reports on chemical usage used our corporate office for billing purposes.

Report directly to the Kirby Sales Management.

Your Target Customer:
Any business with a commercial kitchen or commercial laundry operation. ( Restaurants, Nursing homes, Hospitals, Schools, Churches, Hotels, Motels, Civic facilities and more.

GOOD TO KNOW: Our customers are open after five and on weekends. This requires periodic service and sales after normal business hours. Those not willing to work when required by pressing customer needs should not apply.

We believe that a person who has a background consisting of the experience and skills listed below is more prepared to immediately produce results for our company and themselves in this sales job. Therefore, such applicant will be given preference when considering who will be called for personal interviews and aptitude testing.

*An aptitude for electro mechanical devices.

*Experienced with tools.

*Willing to do light maintenance as part of customer service when required.

*Good health. ( A strong back may be needed at times.)

*A good driving record.

*Strong Communication skills.

*A personal service attitude that does not end at 5 o’clock.

*College background or graduate.

*Restaurant supervisory experience.

*Janitorial supply sales experience.

*Restaurant equipment sales experience.

*Uniform route sales experience.

*Beverage route sales experience.

*EcoLab sales experience

*Auto-Chlor sales experience

Good To Know:
Your sales experience in the computer software field, insurance field, medical products field, telemarketing field, and other none equipment or consumables products sales fields will not be viewed as valuable experience that qualifies you for this sales job.


Kirby will pay a minimum of $40,000 or above to provide you with the income you need while you transition into this new career... And build your territory to the income producer you want it to be.

And you will also receive ample reward for your work in the form of commissions and bonuses.
