Director of EH&S, North Miami, FL - July 23, 2012
A typical day at work began with an hour of safety training to those contractor and sub-contractor employees in need. A short daily meeting with team members to establish the days activities and areas of staff concentration. I have learned that an educated and prepared management team can produce solutions rather than observe problems and difficulties. Providing continued education and advancement in the knowledge of my staff and company goals was key to the teams success and the uninterupted production schedule. The hardest part of my job was convincing sub-contractors of the importance of open communication and problem solving. The most enjoyable part of my job was a hands on approach and watching my staff and sub-contractors come together to provide the safest and most efficient project possible.
