This is a fun place if technology excites you. I am not talking about the latest web technologies here... what I mean is tangible stuff interacting with each other! Robots operating to load semiconductor wafers into the tool which scans those wafers for images that get analyzed for some information - now that involves a lot of mechanics, optics, electronics, computer science, image processing, and many other things! It's a company that makes "real" products.
People are helpful and there are many options to learn from the people around you. A typical day could involve being pulled into several issues and problem solving, troubleshooting things, etc.
