Cons: grave yard shift
Enjoyed working with all RN and LVN because they were always teaching me new things. Quick pace but enjoyed help and caring for our patients. Reason why I had to let go of job because I started LVN school at Valley Grande Institute.

Case Management/Social Worker (Former Employee), Weslaco, TX – September 17, 2013
I learned various amounts of information as I worked with all different MD specialist. Developed team planning in order to provide well rounded patient care. The hardest part of the job is obtaining resources for patients with limited benefits. The most enjoyable part of my job is knowing that I am able to help patients and families during difficult – more... times facing a medical illness or facing loss of a loved one. – less
Registered Nurse (Former Employee), Weslaco, TX – May 13, 2013
I cared for pre and post op patients along with med-surg patients as well. The hardest part of the job was managing all my patients care along with post ops. Luckily this floor has great nurses and always were there for support.
Great hospital for learning and honing one's skills. I learned Endoscopy Ultrasound procedures in G.I Lab. I love to educate students that do rotations there, I am very passionate about sharing educational information on each procedure we do. The most enjoyable part of my job is helping patients.
I would get my assignment for the day, assess my infants, talk to the family or the moms, Attend to the infants or moms immediate needs, feedings, medications etc. Round with the doctors on my infants moms. It was the most rewarding job caring for the infants and seeing them get well and go home. the Unit director was vert unfair. She was very unfair – more... with her employees, Certain employees were the hardest part of the job. – less
