My normal day consist of caring for 8 infants whom are under the age of 12months. I provide a caring, safe and welcoming environment that allows the infants to explore and reach their milestones. I also provide daily experiences that are developmentally appropriate for the ages of the children.
The hardest part of my job is the support from management. I feel as if there are to many uncertain answers when parents have concerns or questions. As well as staff conflicts that are unresolved and pushed back. No follow through is made at any point.
I love my co worker she is amazing and we work great as a team. All the staff are friendly and very welcoming towards new families and staff.
The most enjoyable part of my job is knowing I made a difference in a child's life. Helping them reach a milestone is the best feeling. Having the parents come to me and saying thank you for everything I've taught their child and they couldn't have done it without me is very rewarding. I feel as though you are forever a part of the family. m
