Over Good Place To Work, Too Many Bad Decisions By Management, Confidence in Management Weakening, Good Reliable Talent Is Beginning To Leave
IT Professional (Current Employee) – Corp HQ – February 27, 2016
Days were never the same, new opportunity for someone to break something. The hardest part of the job is that there never was accountability by management for bad, or poor decisions.
There is not much room for advancement if you are not a pet of management, as Management does not like to be told they have failed with respect to long term concerns.
The Kohls that exists today will not be the Kohls that exists in 5 to 10 years. Already, there is a drastic shift, with a major stock hit of nearly 20%, 18 stores closing and now it appears the company may be heading to yet another restructure. Senior Executive Management has been great, maybe it's time for them to bail, and the company bring in new ideas. I expect all this change will add even more scrutiny. Right now, landing at Kohls when a dynamic shift is beginning may not be a wise choice.
