Careful on this one. Dangerous. Possible schizophrenic person in department. Company is aware of problems but doesn't do anything about it such as letting this troubled person go. Very scary.

Work 12 hrs a day, 3 12's and days and 5 8 hr shifts on nights. Load trailors in a orderly and timely fashion. Count invenory, recieve cutomer returns. Learned to operate a forklift, inventory control, how to operate a K-PAK scanner and more computer skills. Management is very heplful. THEY HIRED US AFTER ALL THEIR WORKERS WENT ON STRIKE, AND THE WHOLE TIME WE WORKED THEIR, THEY DID NOTHING BUT LIE AND THEY USED US TO GET THEIR WORK OUT. THE STRIKERS WON THEIR LAWSUIT, WE WERE TERMINATED WITHOUT WARNING AND KOHLER LIED AND SAID THEY NEVER TOLD US WE WERE PERMANENT. Enjoyed my experience at Kohler Co. Compensation was very good and benefits were excellent.

assign duties to members, I learned how to deal various kinds of people, the management was professional, other foremen were caring, hardest part of the job was differences between union and management

Arriving promptly and monitoring computer output, directing to appropriate staff. I learned alot about computers. Management was not very involved. Co-workers were fun during shift overlapping. The hardest part of the job was that it was boring and not much exposure to the public. The most enjoyable part of the job was working independently

It is rare to find a job where everyday you enjoy walking through the doors because it's like a second home without feeling like a job.

Good seasonal job loved working there lot of hours while in season and good benifits.

Kohler is generally a good company to work for, but it is very slow to make changes and often loses sight of plants that are going above and beyond to maintain or grow profitability.

Kohler Company was a secure place to work. Emphasis is on working safely. Extra curricular activities are planned and done on financial sharing basis by employees. Benefits are competitive.

I enjoyed working at this company, had great benefits, l learned a lot of things, drove fork lift truck, packing, inspecting parts, loaded and unloaded semi trucks, worked with over head crane, good company to work for till economy was bad, and new contract went through, have 16 years in this company and now can only get temporary jobs instead of full – more...  time employment – less

I loved working for Kohler, but with it not being a union it was unfair to me. I work hard and was a great a job I enjoyed. Since Kohler was not a union, they did not let you keep you job by how well you did it. They only kept the people that had been there the longest when the layoff's started rolling in.
