Pros: good place to work -

My role with Konica Minolta requires a great deal of travel. I enjoy the travel and the relationships I have with my customers.

Great place to work
Senior Accountant (Current Employee), Ramsey, NJ – May 8, 2013
Great place to work, friendly people, supportive management. Not good for people who want to work virtually. Healthcare has gotten more expensive.

Simply Awful!!
Customer Service Coordinator (Former Employee), Windsor, CT – April 23, 2013
Pros: absolutely nothing
Cons: high cost health care, no room for advancement, the pay is simply unfair and is a non-livable wage.
If your looking to grow with company in a diverse working environment...DO NOT WORK HERE! This is pretty much a "family" oriented work place. The only way you will move anywhere within the company is if you are directly related to someone or have a really good relationship. This is a major micro managed job; to the tune that if you are in the bathroom – more... for more than 2 minutes, someone will come looking for you. If you show a pattern of bathroom breaks during a specific time frame, you will not be allowed to go to the bathroom during those red flagged times.

From the day you start, your main goal there is to keep your job. They do not care if you are hurting financially and will NOT pay for performance. You are to be greatfull that they gave you the job and you should be happy that you have one. If you don't feel well compensated, they will say "we can give it to someone else willing to work for less". The company is more focused on tracking employee wrong doings than actually helping a customer. They have a false image that they are some golden Customer Service department that resolves customer issues when they are really a supply order line and technician dispatch center. Even if you are looking for a job out of desperation, this is not the best place. If you choose to work there, you will see its true light after 6 months maximum. – less

Konica Minolta
Channel Account Manager - IT Solutions Group (Current Employee), Greensboro, NC – April 17, 2013
Pros: plenty of professional freedom
Cons: very competitive and fully commoditized market.
In my position I have worked to recruit and train resellers for laser print solutions across a territory that has grown to 16 states. Unfortunately, the industry is contracting so that it is increasingly difficult to maintain margins. The hardest part of my job is to find a pricing program that allows all of my resellers to be competitive.

I work with – more... an outstanding and professional team of individuals. However, we are led by a management team that is somewhat entrenched in the way "things have always been done." There is a distinct lack of creativity.

The absolute best part of my job is the relationships I have formed across my entire territory. Many of the people I work with I have worked with for years and count them as friends. – less

Strong teamwork among our federal sales team.
Sr. Government Account Representative (Current Employee), Washington, DC – February 21, 2013
Pros: excellent quality equipment with strong supportive software, document security and document management solutions.
Cons: large amounts of paperwork and reporting cuts in to customer face time/sales time.
Great teamwork on our federal sales team. Copiers have excellent color quality, and offer superior security of scanned documents when networked. Sales reps must spend a large amount of time on non-selling activities...involvement with billing, service calls, duplication of information on different reports which could be streamlined.

Interactive
Government Contract Administrator (Former Employee), Windsor, CT – February 14, 2013
The hardest part of the job was the ability to understand the contracts involved. Each client had very specific regulations, also understanding the product line. Along with all the components for each unit. There was a lot of information to understand. The best part of the job had to be the people I worked with.

Hired as an accountant, worked as a customer service rep.
Customer Service Representative III (Former Employee), Windsor, CT – January 20, 2013
Cons: working there
Horrible, enough said.Hired as an accountant, worked as a customer service rep. A mistake was made in the hiring process and they didn't have a spot to fill. I waited over a year for a spot on the accounting team roster and they could not fill it.

Good co-workers/ team based
Color Imaging Specialist (Former Employee), Tampa, FL – January 10, 2013
Pros: get to interact to with it and meet some great customers
Cons: numbers driven, constant micro management, gps tracking, reporting in times everyday, daily reports on workdone, customers calling managers behind your back to complain but when you get there, they pretend like everything is good!
You are constantly being monitored, and you have to report everything without adequate mobile devices that cheap and buggy ! They could just have given us tablets and a hotspot device, and that would be great. The constant number crunching and monitor makes it unbearable because the numbers don't show your great technical skills and customer satisfaction – more... with the products supported! – less

I enjoy working for KMBS, great management and teamwork
Optimized Print Services (MPS) Specialist (Current Employee), Alameda, CA – January 1, 2013
KMBS is a solid company with great products and services. Local management is one of the best to work with in terms of support, sales ability, and open and honest work environments. Products consistently win industry awards. KMBS's goal is to increase market share and revenue, and has been the only major company in our industry to do that in recent – more... years. The only drawback is the compensation package for many positions, including mine. For this reason I am insterested in looking for other opportunities, as I am the best at my position in the US and still do not make the income that I have made in all prior years.. – less

Excellent Company - Among the best in the world
Branch Technical Manager (Former Employee), Edina, Mn – December 6, 2012
Pros: great management
Cons: i dont work there
I worked as the Branch Technical Manager in charge of managing up to 24 field technicians working remotely. I had a great staff and great support. Yes, I had to let go of one or two bad apples but overall every person we had cared about what they did. The hardest part of the job was resolving customer complaints but it was also the most rewarding part – more... of the job. I learned that on site proactive management reviews led to high levels of customer satisfaction and renewed contracts.

My immediate boss was the finest manager I have ever met, I learned tons from him. – less
