We are seeking a qualified IT Service Tech for the IT Technician position. A+ certification and a valid driver’s license are required. This is a Contract to Hire opportunity.
Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs computer systems, hardware and computer peripherals.
Documents, maintains, upgrades or replaces hardware and software systems.
Supports and maintains user account information including rights, security and systems groups.
Trains employees, identifies, analyzes, and repairs product failures, orders and replaces parts as needed.
Determines and recommends which products or services best fit the customers' needs.
Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
Works under immediate supervision.
Entry level - 3 years of experience in the field or in a related area and an Associate's degree or equivalent
Valid driver’s license
Solid technical understanding of commonly-used Tech Support concepts, practices, and procedures
Ranging from basic setups to in-depth troubleshooting, requiring years of training and skills development.
Professional communications with customers, peers and upper management
Excellent teamwork skills
Attention to detail
Ability to interpret policy and enforce with customers and partner teams
Ability to multi-task and prioritize work load depending on ever-changing requirements and volumes
Complete understanding of Microsoft OS up to Win7, and Server OS up to 2008
