Working to build a new department for the Chicago office gave me a lot of experience working with transferring in new clients as well as conducting new client intake. Working with new clients during the intake phase allowed me the opportunity to meet and develop new relationships with these clients. The development of a strong rapport was beneficial to the long term business development of the department. My skills sharpened during this phase of my position due to the large amount of time spent developing client relationships, entering client contact information and becoming familiar with the clients business as well as their product.
