Information Assurance Certification & Accreditation Specialist – Mid-Level
Location: Onsite at Vandenberg AFB
Provide Information Assurance / Certification & Accreditation support to our Government customer. Support government oversight and coordination of C&A activities, review and develop mission systems accreditation policies, procedures, and reports for DoD and Air Force policy compliance including DoD Information Assurance / Certification and Accreditation, Process (DIACAP), DoD 8500.2, AFI 33-210, etc.
Have a knowledge of the NIST Risk Management Framework. Assess Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation (C&A) packages, support government oversight and coordination of C&A activities, have a working knowledge of Security Test and Evaluation (ST&E). Develop system risk assessments, risk mitigation strategies and trade-off analysis. Develop and sustain accreditation baselines to support and maintain C&A for all mission systems. Support updating of the Enterprise Integration Technical Data Repository (EITDR) database.
Participate with working groups, consisting of both technical and non-technical personnel, charged with developing C&A documentation packages. Support a tracking system for DIACAP packages/documentation. Maintain appropriate certification per DoD 8570.01-M. Participate in C&A activities at the IPT level. Conduct Security Classification Guide review of various documents. Review and staff for coordination sustainment systems upgrades or changes. Comply with FISMA requirements. Review Cross Domain Solutions.
- 5+ years in IA (3+ yrs DIACAP and FISMA experience)
- Security+ Certified
- 2+ years of experience with DoD Services or Agencies
- 2+ years of experience with computer network devices and operating systems
- BA or BS degree
- Possession of excellent analytical skills
- Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
- CISSP, MCSE, CCNA or equivalent certifications preferred
- Top Secret clearance with eligibility for SCI
Salary range: 80 to 85K
