I thoroughly enjoyed my position as a General Foreman. There wasn't a bad part about it. I had the authority to run my division, and the support of upper management.
The only bad thing I can say is more related to the oilfields in general than directed at the company. The oilfields are very cyclic. The possibility of getting laid off is always there.
The company treated me just fine. The industry let me and hundreds of thousands of other men down.
