Since we opened in 1946, we have expanded our operation to three states. We have an immediate opening for a Manufacturing Engineer within our Machining Division.
Primary responsibilities for this position include developing, evaluating and improving manufacturing methods by utilizing knowledge of materials and parts, machining processes, tooling and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards. Confers with customer about part specifications and develops bill of materials from blueprints. Develops manufacturing routings, including equipment used and operation sequences. Develops tool list and confers with design staff concerning manufacturing fixtures and special cutting tools. Programs CNC machining centers using Surfcam or Esprit.
The successful candidate will possess 5+ years of manufacturing engineering or CNC programming experience, preferably with an aerospace background, with Surfcam, Cadkey, and MS Office skills. Must also be a team player with excellent communication skills and the ability to work with all levels of the organization. Manage 2000 and Esprit experience is a plus, as well as a gearing background. Technical school or engineering degree preferred.
