Role and Responsibilities
Specific responsibilities for a business development manager are generating own leads and prospective clients, building client relationships, delivering presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations, maintaining extensive knowledge of current market conditions, and negotiating and closing business deals. This position may require extensive travel. Responsible for managing the Salesforce software on daily basis.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Qualifications for this position typically include a bachelor's degree and three or more years' experience. Other qualifications may include knowledge of the hospital industry, proven revenue generation and sales experience. Must have previous hospital sales experience, and capital equipment and medical sales. Proven sales from zero to several thousands of dollars. Must be able to generate outside sales, conduct high call and email volume. Must be able to carry or lift up to 100lbs in equipment demos. A working knowledge of SalesForce.com.
