Currently we are looking to fill the following position:
1. JOB TITLE: Material Coordinator
2.1. Reports to: Manager – Material Management
2.2. Reviewed by: Manager – Material Management
3. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervise the movement of components & products between a company's departments.
- Supervise the flow of materials between distributors, suppliers and other business partners.
- Make business decisions based on a complete assessment of costs, inventory levels, work progress reports and other efficiency indicators.
3.1. Coordinate and oversee Supply Chain & Material Control Activities
3.1.1. Interface with Kwang Jin Korea/China for logistics (Shipping & Receiving) issues
3.1.2. Inventory Management Activities
3.1.3. Customer interfaces: EDI, ASN and delivery Performance
3.1.4. Oversee warehouse activities using ERP and B2B system
3.1.5. Receive shipment arrival schedule/information from Kwang Jin Korea/China
3.1.6. Track in-transit Sea Containers and report to Warehouse Personnel
3.1.7. Contact BNS/HMM about container status when necessary
3.1.8. Upload Delfor/DelJit every Monday on B2B System
3.1.9. Have Logistics meetings with Vendors (Kwang Jin Korea/China)
3.1.10. Make Purchase orders for KJSG, KJM, KJV and JKJ and upload in B2B system weekly
3.2. Inventory control
3.2.1. Coordinate inventory of stock and insure product adjustments are properly applied
3.2.2. Arrange for shipment of required components and such to have appropriate inventory on hand to supply customers needs
3.2.3. Verify discrepancies between theoretical vs. actual inventory
3.2.4. Update B2B system for actual inventory Monthly
3.2.5. Upload new part information in EDI and B2B System
4. ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
4.1. Maintain good relations with workers and supervisors
4.2. All other tasks as requested by Management
5. REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
5.1. Associate or Bachelor’s degree in supply chain or material logistics
5.2. Must have at least 5 years experience in Supply Chain & Logistics
5.3. Must have experiences on EDI: Delfor, Deljit
5.4. Proven leadership skills, strong problem solving skills, ability to foster employee involvement and development as well as written and oral communications skills.
5.5. Must be computer literate, advanced knowledge of MS Word & Excel
5.6. Must also be able to learn and regularly operate multiple company owned systems: GMS, B2B, ERP, QIR & etc.
