Good company to work with... grow with the company...

Good leaders... lot of levels though which in a way may alter the growth of company due to lack of transperency.

Growing Pains, but solid
Business Development (Current Employee) –  Edison, NJAugust 25, 2017
Solid company of significant size, but going through growing pains as they try to gain size in the US. This is difficult as growth requires delivery of actual results to the clients. Not uncommon to over stress growth but without realistic timeline and plan to grow client work.

Senior Engineer (Current Employee) –  Phoenix, AZApril 13, 2017
Not a good place to start with. However, learning curve definitely improves. Management does not care about their employees, which is a sad part of this company

Generally would not recommend seeking employment with L&T
Mechanical Engineer I (Current Employee) –  Plano, TXJanuary 19, 2017
As an engineering service provider, each employees experience while working at L&T varies depending on which project or location an employee is working on/at.

For employees not onsite at a customer location, the day-to-day schedule is flexible and work places very relaxed.

Project work can often be mundane if the customers needs are limited to basic CAD or drawing work.

Compensation has been shown to be well below average for engineers in the DFW area and opportunities for raises and advancement extremely limited in recent years.
Pros
Flexible work environment
Cons
Poor compensation, Lack of advancement

Much room for improvement
Desgin Engineer (Former Employee) –  Plano, TXJanuary 10, 2017
Ever since L&T acquired Dell Engineering Services, the company went downhill. The transition was an absolute mess. L&T used their "sales" team to try and find new opportunities. After one year I don't think they found a single company to work for. They promised extreme growth in the Engineering team, but instead the employees started leaving and the team actually shrank. They had many unfulfilled promises and were not L&T HR made demands and were very inflexible causing many employees to leave. The Engineers kept hearing positive news about the awesome changes that were coming, but when you get an outstanding performance review 2 years in a row and a 1% raise after those two years, it will drive many people to leave. L&T made a mess with the acquisition, and I sure don't have a positive outlook for this company.
Pros
No micromanagement, laid back environment (if on Plano location)
Cons
salary, culture, promotions, feedback/performance reviews

Technical Consultant (Current Employee) –  TexasSeptember 30, 2016
Excellent place for the newer engineer to get broad experience across multiple industries. Avoid if you are a senior engineer... you will not be paid what you are worth.
