L’Oréal was recently named one of America’s Best Large Employers for 2016 by Forbes. L’Oréal ranked among the top U.S. Packaged Goods companies of the 500 various employers featured on the list.
“We’re honored to be recognized by Forbes, as we strive to offer an inspiring, dynamic, diverse and supportive work environment for our employees,” said Sarah Hibberson, SVP, Human Resources, L’Oréal USA. “At L’Oréal, we believe that by developing talent and harnessing creativity, expertise and passion, we are ensuring that our employees are given the opportunity to reach their full potential.”
To determine an accurate ranking, Forbes Media partnered with Statista, an online statistics provider, to conduct an anonymous online survey between each company’s employees. More than 30,000 American associates were asked without the involvement of their employers whether they would recommend their company as a place to work and their opinion about the other companies within their industry.
At L’Oréal, employees have the opportunity to build their own career and change positions across brands or divisions within the company and around the world.
The 2015 edition of L’Oréal’s unique business competition attracted more than 13.000 students from all over the world to develop an innovative retail strategy for the Lancôme brand in the Travel Retail channel. After 6 months of very hard work, the finalists arrived in Paris!
