Job Title: Marketing and Sales Manager
Marketing and Sales Manager Job Purpose: Accomplishes business development activities by researching, developing and executing marketing ideas, plans and ativities,leveraging newer channels (social media, pay per click, goggle analytics) as well as traditional methods (direct mail, radio, TV) to increase traffic and ultimately sales the clubs.
Marketing and Sales Manager Job Duties:
Achieves marketing and sales operational objectives by coordinating marketing and sales activities throughout the clubs consistent with and contributing to the Company’s strategic plans.
Preparing and completing action plans and marketing events; implementing, measuring and reporting out on sales and marketing activities; resolving problems; completing ROI audits; identifying trends; determining system improvements; implementing dynamic improvements.
Manage the creation, planning and implementation of new viral marketing initiatives, partnerships and strategies leveraging newer marketing channels (mobile, internet, social media, et al).
Meets marketing and sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
Measures and drives return on marketing spend for various campaigns to track, improve and optimize maketing mix on a continual basis. Accomplishes marketing and sales objectives by planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating advertising, merchandising, and trade promotion programs; developing sales action plans.
Sustains rapport with club manager by making periodic visits; exploring specific needs; anticipating new opportunities. Also partners with the club manager to drive a partnership with the local community, other businesses and institution to drive more value and retension in the membership base.
Provides information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
Accomplishes marketing and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
Skills/Qualifications: Field marketing activities, ability to work with general managers, senior management team, marketing partners and community to drive value-added measurable sales and marketing activities.
Exeperience with multiple marketing mediums and channels and openness to track results, trends and return on investment. Comfortable with Strategic coordination, planning and execution, especially Viral Marketing mediums to include (Facebook, Pinterest, Yelp and other social media tools).
Experience driving traffic and customer loyalty into multi-unit store environments are ideal.
