Faculty (Current Employee), College of Engineering and ArchitectureJune 27, 2014
Pros: free clinic benefits
Cons: no free lunch, sometimes tap water are not safe to drink
Excited for the students' reaction about the topics.
We (me and students) learned a lot everyday.
The management does not hear out the ideas of lower ranking workers, they insist on their own idea and does not think of what others will feel.
My co-workers are good, we understand each other, though sometimes, busy.
The hardest part of my job is when students does not relate that much in the topic (except for the advance students).
The most enjoyable part of my job is when the students smiles at me every end of our class and saying they've understood the topic.

Secretary/Tutor/Student Worker (Current Employee), Philadelphia, PAAugust 1, 2013
A typical day at work consists of me working alongside the director of my department with mentoring and educating students. I tutor and the students are very grateful for my services. I am also responsible for keeping everything organized.

My coworkers and I take pride in the projects we start and complete. We work as a team to do whatever we are assigned to do.

The hardest part of the job is dealing with stressed students. Sometimes it is difficult to try and calm them down when they are so overwhelmed with coursework.

The most enjoyable part of the job is being able to help others. I give the students academic and personal advice and they seem to take a liking in me.
