Office Manager (Former Employee), Toledo, OH – September 30, 2014
Pros: working under no supervision, quiet office
Cons: hours were not steady each day
This was a hard company to work for. I was in charge of getting employees to their assigned work locations. One night the business was broke into. I received a call from my manager out of Toledo. He asked that I go to the office and sit there until morning to be sure that nothing is stolen. They were not able to have someone come out and repair the – more... broken window until then. I was a young, single mother at the time. I was scared, but as the manager of the office, I woke my daughter up and put her in the car and went to the office. Luckily, I could sit in my car and watch the building from the outside to ensure both her and my safety from the comfort of my car. – less

Pros: no pros
Cons: they cheat you out of money you worked for through them.
A job can be given to another person because they asked or they need the money. Favortism is given to people: a car, skin color, and attraction. I provide professional attitude, that's me. I have been overlooked due to some part of favortism. Labor works cheats people out of overtime pay or just a regular paycheck. It have happened to me alot..But I'm – more... not there now because of the illegal activities. They will not give out Labor Works' Corporate number. I don't wonder why! I know why! – less
Cons: long working hours, may not be picked to work, arriving at 4:30
The best thing about the job was I was paid daily. However a typical day at work for me was waking up at 4:30 in the morning. While there I was at 4:30 I was waiting to see if I would be sent off to a job site. More often then not I would not get sent out and I would wait until 11:00 sometimes, never having getting picked. That was the hardest part – more... of the job. I hated waking up that early only to find out they didn't need me that day. My most enjoyable part of my working day was being sent off with these two guys before. We shared the same frustrations, the same taste in music and that day on the job was great. – less

Pros: un set hrs. you can take a day off and not need to explain it.
working for labor works can be a good job when you get a job that you come back every day. but when they send you too a new job every day. your lucky if you work more than 4 hrs. the management is good. but you make minimum wage and you know they could pay you more is they wanted too they just dont.
