Laclede Gas is a company that doesn't care about it's employees or customers.
For employees, despite the fact the company has had the money to buy other utility companies and is making a healthy profit, all they care about is how many jobs they can cut and how much they can cut the salaries of its employees, even though employees have had their salary frozen for the last 8 yrs. There also no room for advancement as the company hires new people to be supervisors of departments they know nothing about and have never worked in.
For it's customers, in addition to customer service calls being answered in St. Louis, they are also being answered by an outsourcing company in Texas that isn't well trained but that doesn't matter because the company is saving money by paying less in salaries.
There is micromanaging everywhere and little communication and trust between employees and supervisors.
micro management, no raises, dress code, pay for parking
