Lakewood Inn Restaurant is looking for a Chef/Steward for its 2013 summer season.
The Lakewood Inn Restaurant has an 18 week continuous season, running from May 23rd-Sept 21, with dinner functions running until Columbus Day weekend.
We offer dinner service that coincides with the show schedule of the Lakewood Theater, and a Sunday brunch that runs the entire season.
This position is responsible for various duties including, but not limited to, ordering and receiving goods, implementing menus, training kitchen employees, managing kitchen employees, cost of sales, quality control, stocks, sauces, desserts, prep lists, and maintenance of clean and safe work stations.
-At least 2 years of prior experience of Sous Chef level experience in an all-scratch high-volume environment
-Strong communication skills
-Ability to work calmly and productively under pressure
-Ability to lead and teach a culinary team
-Work 50-55 hours per week which will include nights, weekends and holidays
-Must have reliable transportation
-Must be Servsafe Certified
