I opened at 10 AM and opened for the public at 11 AM and we always had a crowd at lunch time.
I learned to love this job, specially because I came from teaching and washing dishes, cooking and cleaning was so different but I adjusted well to it and against the odds I became the manager because I worked harder under pressure, and in the mornings we were only 2 workers.
In the mornings, we worked so much that time flew, and the other worker was an excellent worker and person and the night shift were good workers and I liked them, specially because before I worked night time but since the owner saw that I could be more productive in the mornings working with just one more person, he changed me.
The weekends were so busy, and we were three but still was too much for us that many times we ended up having lunch after we finish our shift.
We worked as a team and rely on each other and became very good peers.
