Job Title: Senior Survey Technician:
Landform seeks a motivated Survey Technician/Instrument Person.
As the Senior Survey Technician you must be proficient in using AutoCAD and LDD. Candidates must have 3-5 years of experience. Must have experience with reading and working with survey drawings (topographic, ALTA/ACSM Land Title Surveys, and boundary drawings). Ability to manipulate and update survey data and points is a must.
A Senior Survey Technician must be proficient in the preparation of survey documents using AutoCAD, and experience with Civil3D is preferred.
This position reports directly to the Survey Manager.
Initial responsibilities may include:

  • Drafting topographic, boundary, and ALTA/ACSM Land Title Surveys
  • Downloading field notes, editing field data
  • Assist in calculating boundaries from record maps and deeds
  • Perform survey calculations
  • Surface remodeling
  • Assist with writing/editing legal descriptions
  • As-built preparations
  • Assisting field crews with field duties from time to time

Full-Time/Part-Time/Hours: Full-Time 40-50 hours per week
Salary: DOQ

Landform, a progressive site development firm in Minneapolis, seeks a motivated Survey Technician/Instrument Person.
As a Survey Technician you must have experience with reading and working with survey drawings such as topographic surveys, ALTA/ACSM Land Title Surveys, and boundary drawings. A Survey Technician must also be able to work directly with field crews and understand field operations and the transfer of data to and from the field.
A survey Technician must be proficient in the preparation of survey documents using AutoCAD, and experience with Civil3D is preferred.
This position reports directly to the Survey Manager.
