The vacation/ time off pay is accrued through each pay period. Your request must be put in at the beginning of the year, which is ridiculous because situations and opportunities come up and unplanned time off is nearly impossible to get. You just about have to fake an illness to take off.
Raises are ridiculous. Any little thing the managers can put on your review to bump your score down will happen. There is no cost of living increase. What little raise you are lucky enough to get will still put you in the negative because cost of benefits will increase. However, if your income is supplemental then is doable.
