Regional Reservations Sales Agent-Destination (Former Employee) – Leesburg, VA – December 6, 2017
Making Reservations for Rooms, Dining, Spa, Golf, help with setting up Weddings. Aspire Training.. Management took care of high profiles - not the employees who worked and deserve the most. Not wanting to spend your day playing golf/tennis/spa daily. Making a guest smile & happy....
Massage Therapist (Current Employee) – Leesburg, VA – March 3, 2017
Wonderful calming and friendly spa to work in. All the employees in the spa are very helpful and friendly. The atmosphere is very therapeutic and I absolutely love working here! Management is top notch, the spa runs very well with everything organized that you need to perform your job at your fingertips. Highly recommend this spa to any therapist looking for a peaceful and happy workplace!
The co-workers are great. Managment doesnt always help though.
Food Server (Current Employee) – Leesburg, VA – February 7, 2017
The pay isnt that great but you do get long hours. Managment leaves a lot to wish for. I would say iff your just looking for another job, more than welcome to apply. If your looking for a serious job you wana move up the chain ladder, look else where.
Beverage Cart Attendant and Hostess (Former Employee) – Leesburg, VA – December 20, 2016
As an employee this is a great place to work because everyone seems to get along. Lansdowne takes care of its workers which keeps everyone happy and more productive. The only slight downside is that management (at least on the golf club end) struggles to maintain control. Many things are improvised and it almost always ends out workout out fine, but management doesn't actually have a clue what's going on. Everyone who works there is cool though.
Housekeeping (Former Employee) – Leesburg, VA – May 30, 2016
Low pay, they fire you without notice and basicly if the manager doesnt like you, it doesn't matter if you being working for the company more than 13 years. The HR department is full of not professional people. The managers cover each others back.
Concierge (Former Employee) – Leesburg, VA – January 21, 2014
I would most of the time be sitting at my desk in the lobby, creating a database for activities around the area, assisting guests with directions and transportation as well as ideas for around the area.
Management seemed to be very micro-managing and overly critical.
Biggest thing I learned though is to always follow protocol, no matter what.
