Inspecting county roads
Engineering Student Intern (Former Employee), Fort Collins, COMarch 11, 2015
Typical day would be driving out to a county road, then inspecting the road every 1000 feet. The work was repetitive, but the management appreciated your work. The best part of the job was going to remote parts of the county and viewing the countryside while inspecting roads.

Inspected paved and unpaved roads in order to update Larimer County's pavement condition index which allows for optimal spending of funds on county road maintenance. Also participated in career building days such as surveying, transportation engineering, and forest fire recovery.
