Larimer County really appreciates its employees by providing good benefits. The pay could be a bit better, but it is government.

Excellent supervisor and co-workers who provided the opportunit to zero in on student needs toward success.
Administrative Assistant (Former Employee) –  Fort Collins, COSeptember 19, 2015
I could not ask for better colleagues and the Supervisor was the best any professional might ask for.

The only drawback was the dependability of the attending students with little assurance that they would show up for their lessons.
Pros
Exceptional colleagues
Cons
Students' lack of participation on a consistent level

Inspecting county roads
Engineering Student Intern (Former Employee) –  Fort Collins, COMarch 11, 2015
Typical day would be driving out to a county road, then inspecting the road every 1000 feet. The work was repetitive, but the management appreciated your work. The best part of the job was going to remote parts of the county and viewing the countryside while inspecting roads.

Inspected paved and unpaved roads in order to update Larimer County's pavement condition index which allows for optimal spending of funds on county road maintenance. Also participated in career building days such as surveying, transportation engineering, and forest fire recovery.
