Senior Accountant, Norcross, GA - March 11, 2017
I joined Larson-Juhl in 1988 and retired from there in 2015. I started as a cash deposit clerk and worked my way up to Senior Accountant. During my career at LJ, I completed my BS in Accounting and earned my CPA. I was encouraged and supported every step of the way. LJ values its people, its customers and its high quality products. i was continually encouraged to learn more, take on additional responsibility and to train others new to the department. I actually looked forward to going to work every day! I retired early at 65 mainly because of the pull of two aging parents, who needed more of me than I could give while working full time. Even after retiring, I continued to work on projects and a maternity leave coverage for LJ and will continue to go back whenever they need me. They are a great company to work for.
