Lateral Group’s Creative Services Department is currently seeking a Graphic Designer to work in a highly deadline-oriented creative environment to produce internal and external collateral.

The qualified candidate will be designing and producing print and web content, including: reports, brochures, ads, charts, presentations, banners, tradeshow materials and infographics. The successful candidate is capable of working with all levels of company management and works well in a collaborative team environment.


  • Create original designs based on creative concepts for printed collateral such as inserts, postcards, flyers, and sale sheets while adhering to each client’s strict style guidelines
  • Interpret project needs, gathering information to clarify design issues and thinking creatively to produce ideas and solutions to the design challenges
  • Gather feedback on designs and integrate necessary changes
  • Collaborate with team members to design and produce collateral materials
  • Produce various graphics, reports and presentations
  • Take preemptive action to prevent errors and waste
  • Maintain job task time and production logs


  • Proficient knowledge of Adobe Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, etc.)
  • Excellent design and typography skills
  • Document formatting and layout skills
  • Organized and attentive to detail
  • Handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Web design
  • Ability to work in a team environment with peer designers, clients, illustrators, editors, in-house printers and others to produce effective publications
  • Taking excellent direction in a supportive role
  • Multi-tasking skills, working on multiple projects with concurrent, tight deadlines


  • Degree in graphic design or related field and working experience
  • Experience in a creative production-oriented role
  • Working knowledge of graphic design for print, digital and press publishing processes, concepts and techniques, such as digital page makeup, style sheets, digital photo manipulation, color separation production and pre-press preparation of files
  • Knowledge of print production requirements such as bleeds, crop marks, and color conversions
  • Demonstrated ability to produce creative, effective, visual approaches to a wide variety of published materials within established budgets and timeframes
