What hospital/dept do you work for? I see managers who only care about padding their pockets from the customer service surveys they receive. Also I see a management that cares/shows respect based on the salary that they pay you (aka doctors are Gods and the little guy is extremely expendable). Lee Memorial is a terrible company to work for.

It is obvious that you have not worked very long for LMHS. I worked for them for 18 years. I gave my all. Worked different shifts, in unbelievable crowded conditions but still gave 110%. I was told by my supervisor that my fellow coworkers hated me. But the funny thing was I went to break and lunch on a regular basis with many of them. Is that the way to treat an employee? And they fired me for being disrespectful. At least the state of Florida appeals court saw it differently and decided in my favor so I could collect unemployment. And I have been a patient there too and that is not all it is cracked up to be. I had just gave birth to my 3rd son and a leak started in my room from the floor above. Nobody came for 2 hours. And if it was not for my sister in law working on that floor I never would have been transfered to another room.
