Now hiring experienced Regional Manager (Regional Director of Operations) candidate to lead 7-9 stores by developing successful General Managers, Assistant General Managers and Teams.

Leeann Chin, Inc. is 33 years strong, privately owned and continues to expand into new markets, renovate our current stores, develop teams and create innovative, fresh menu items. The Regional Director of Operations will team with the Director of Operations and VP of Operations to develop outstanding GMs and Teams at the store level for continued success and NSO expansion. This is a great opportunity for an experienced multi-unit Manager to develop and build a highly engaged team focused on the company’s mission and share in the success of the Leeann Chin brand.

Continually assess and improve operating systems, day-to-day execution, cost controls, and building bench strength. Span of control will include oversight of all operations, training, maintenance, and operations services
Develop, train, coach and lead the operations team to achieve best-in-class results and elevate their performance. Proactively develop regional and management level talent within the organization to minimize turnover and to promote within to enable successful restaurant growth
Embrace and enhance the Leeann Chin culture throughout the organization
Collaborate with direct reports and the executive team to develop a comprehensive strategy and provide the effective and inspiring operating leadership necessary to grow the organization
Attain the financial objectives of the business through effective management of people, product, service and facility processes, including a focus on the revenue and profit components
Improve sustainable operational and service systems and infrastructure designed to meet the high standards of excellence and continued growth of the organization
Identify, develop and monitor strategic initiatives of the brand in the local marketplace and its major competitors
Perform special projects as assigned including NSO

The desired candidate will possess a minimum of 3-7 plus years of multi-unit restaurant leadership experience in food court operations with a progressive history of delivering superior results
The desired candidate needs to be entrepreneurial and visionary, yet be very hands-on, with a positive can-do attitude
It is critical that he or she be highly knowledgeable in the SOPs of major restaurant organizations and has played a key role in optimizing company operations as well has successfully built, mentored and coached successful teams
The individual will have a proven ability to create short and long-term strategic plans and execute annual operating, marketing and financial plans and forecasts while continually monitoring and delivering strong performance against the plans
The candidate should have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Candidates with basic conversational Spanish language skills preferred
Computer literate with Internet and software programs (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
Detail-oriented, and have the ability to delegate responsibility as needed
Understand and follow state and federal labor laws
As an integral member of the company’s leadership team, the candidate must exemplify the highest standards of honesty, integrity and discretion
The individual should be highly confident of their abilities and be considered a detail-oriented person who can be proactive and tackle complex assignments.
The candidate should be highly analytical
The candidate will need to be a consummate team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills across all levels of the organization

Travel: Twin Cities based position with some potential to for overnight travel to support NSO. Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
