Data Entry Assistant (Current Employee), Bronx, NYJuly 28, 2014
Pros: free lunch
Cons: no upward mobility between positions
I enjoyed my time with Legends hospitality, the culture is great, and the employees are easy to get along with. Unfortunately, there is not much potential for growth or mobility between departments. No real challenege, or incentives to do better a better job with tasks.

Exciting
stock selves and I cashier (Current Employee), Anaheim, CAJuly 8, 2014
Pros: free lunch
Cons: short breaks
I get to work and I clock in and then I clock out for lunch for thirty minutes in the beginning of the shift then I clock in and go to my assigned work area. I prepare the stand to open at game time. I prepare the beverage, I set up the condiments and put ice for the beverages in each station and I serve the customers with their orders. I cashier and – more... direct customers to what they are looking for. At the end of day we clean, count our till and clock out.

I learned how to communicate with people and to serve others. I have learned how a concession stand works.

Management: Courteous and professional

Co-workers are friendly and hard workers.

The hardest part of my job would be standing for long hours at a time.

The most enjoyable part of my job are the fans. – less

Concessions Worker (Current Employee), Anaheim, CAMarch 1, 2014
Pros: free lunches
Cons: short breaks, seasonal
Working at Legends is fun the i get to meet a lot of new people. I learned how to have great customer service skills working for Legends. My co-workers are all nice and help whenever someone needs it. Though it is very chaotic to clock in because there are so many people management tries to deal with it. The hardest part of the job is only working when – more... there is an Angel Baseball game. The most enjoyable part of the job is getting to meet so many new people. – less

Great job, Great pay, Terrible scheduling
Bank Clerk (Former Employee), 1 E 161st St, Bronx, NY 10451January 5, 2014
Pros: free food, free access to yankee games and events
Cons: lousy hours, lousy scheduling, lousy managers
This job was great. I mean working at Yankee Stadium was amazing. You got free food, and on your leisure time you could watch the games. The only problem was the department I worked in was very disorganized with the schedule. You literally had to text a manager to see if you were needed for a shift, the same day of a game or event. Even worst was the – more... way they let people go. I had no warning of being laid off. I texted my manager to see about my hours, only to get no response. It was unprofessional. – less

Stand Captain (Former Employee), Arlington, TXNovember 13, 2013
Pros: fun and fast paced
Cons: seasonal position
Typical work day is usually fun and exciting. I learned about the sport football. Legends has an excellent management team. Co-workers were great to work with as well. There was nothing hard about the job. Being able to see the football games for free would be the most enjoyable.

Server/Stan Manager (Former Employee), Lancaster, PAOctober 31, 2013
Pros: great leftovers
Cons: new management and very little trust
Well a typical day at Legends as a server would be walking in and having to wait for the Catering Manager to hand us our task. Following that I would have to say I learned lots of patience when it came to a place where people at times brought their personal life in, so you can imagine the kind of drama we got at times. I would have to say that truly – more... had to be the hardest part of the job, co-workers not able to leave their personal business outside of work. The thing I enjoyed most as a server were my guest. Yes at times you got the guest that expect you to clean their BUTT but for the most part great environment to work in. – less

Not enough
Sales Associate (Current Employee), New York, NYOctober 24, 2013
Cons: short breaks healthcare and the pay
At yankees Staudim we have little breaks we have to buy the food there and waste money because if we buy it there are long lines and not a special lines for employers and I feel we shouldn't have to pay for it if we don't buy the lunch there when provide it always pizza and hotdog we sometime get raw food as well there are no benfits such as dential – more... and health. The management there is very little and we can't use the phone to call if the person in charge is not there. The pay is also very little to none I feel there during game season there should be paid vacation and or paid sick days because we lose money even when it out of our hands because we are sick . – less

Kitchen Steward (Former Employee), Arlington, TXSeptember 26, 2013
Pros: free lunches, good breaks. lots of good sodas and snacks.
Cons: no benefits for part time workers.
most days involved lots of set up work for the next home game. making sure all the available items were in their kitchens and items that were not were to be obtained by the chefs handleing those kitchens. if a steward was available he or she would assist that chef with the needed items for his or her kitchen. learned great responsibillity and devoloped – more... strong work values in the company of strong and positive crew leaders. the management and chefs were the best to work for. their leadership and guidance made the job exciting and fun. co-workers were always on time and very well disciplined and ready for another 12 hour game day job filled with lots to do. we all did our jobs 100% hardest part, standing for 12 to 13 hours. most enjoyable part was always hearing supervisiors tell us that they are very proud of all of us for hanging in there and getting all the work done. [just so you know, i would gladly do it all over again if i could just get someone to hire me.] kitchen stewarding was the most fun and the toughest job i had and i always say this, if you can handle the work load of the dallas cowboys stadium in whatever job you do, you can handle and do any job out there. – less

Yankee Stadium In-seat Runner (Current Employee), 000 (Triple Zero)August 1, 2013
Pros: free food at beginning of shift, choose the days you work from availability given.
Cons: no health care, no breaks unless double-header takes place, hours are based on position and game days
This is a great job for people who are in school or seeking a secondary job to support the luxuries of their life. The job is simple enough just grab the food order and take it to the designated table. I learn the different approaches of customer service along with how to tend to the needs of high profile clientele. Management does their best to accommodate – more... the needs of the employees while being firm with rules and policies. Co-workers are pretty easy to get along with but sometimes adolescent. Hardest part is tending to a guest that is having a bad experience. The best part of each day are the guests you meet because a lot of them like to share their thoughts and talk about the game. – less

Pros: free lunch. ($5 voucher)
Cons: not enough hours.
Getting to meet all kinds of new people. Learned how to interact with people at work. I would prefer to be in a management position. A variety of different co-workers. The hardest part of the job is leaving. The most enjoyable part of the job is interacting with the customers.
