About LeGrand
Legrand promotes the reduction of greenhouse gases via its internal "Legrand Climact" project which focuses on three key areas of action: energy management at the industrial sites, eco-design of products, and transport. A carbon footprint carried out in 2004 on three of the Group's sites showed that 80% of their carbon emissions were linked – more... to the materials used to manufacture the products, while 12% were associated with the transport of goods and 8% with the use of energy (building/industrial processes/transport of people).
