Not a great company for career growth especially for women. Company didn't seem to care about quality but more saving face.
Do not recommend working here.

I worked there. No regard for the employee...will dump you at a moment's notice. Cutthroat management only interested in using you as a tool to get ahead. Their safety culture adds so much to the cost of construction they are not competitive therefore you'll be out of work very quickly. It's no fun to work in constant fear your boss will schitzo out – more... and dump you. – less

Work was a college atmosphere to learn and be of more value to the company.

Great salary offered here and sophisticated training if you're able and allowed to take the time to do it. This company laid off new and seasoned professionals with absolutely no concern or warning when the market dropped. Management can be cut throat to achieve promotion.

Nice company. Compensation was good. Training was available. They are a very progessive company. Top management left you alone to run the property.

While the Olympic and Paralympic games I was one of the lucky few to able enter the athletes village, even though the office was hidden away from the rest of the village it was a great place to work as they provided full training on systems used and warned that this role would be a constantly changing role as they weren't sure what would occur once – more... athletes arrived. This role didn't change to much over the games just how they wanted paperwork to be handled. As I worked well following what was needed to be done they where very grateful for the work I did but they didn't need me to stay on post games. – less

Brought in to turn around a falling programme, 6 months behind and no design. Gathered requirements and developed a scalable Technical Design that has been implemented successfully within a 3 month period to meet contractual time scales and services sold.

Created High Level Presentation to the Business to gain Board approval with two weeks.

There was excellent support, advancement and management in my division and it was an enjoyable place to work.

My day depending on the time of month can vary as towards the end of the month it can get quite hectic - luckily here they do have a slight flexible approach to hours worked, as in I am a morning person so will come in early and leave slightly earlier if able to. The hardest part of the job would be that there is no way to further your career which – more... can be extremely frustrating but you find that you are able to constantly learn new things / skills as you go along - it is what you make of it. Management are a good team although at times they are faced with hard decisions which you can either agree / disagree with - they are open to you challenging them - which is also very good. The most enjoyable part of the job is working with my Co-Workers as they are a great bunch and are always willing to lend a hand in your time of need as well as being able to socialize with them out of work the bond is that good. – less

*Mis días ya los había planeado para que funcionara, por ejemplo los lunes eran entradas y capturas de facturas, los martes entrega de las facturas a administración para pagos, los miércoles para comunicarme con proveedores y solicitarles sus pendientes, los jueves revisión de facturas para tener listas sus correcciones y no haber problemas en su día – more... de entrada, y los viernes archivo de pagos de los proveedores. Ocasionalmente también les ayudaba a mis compañeros en su rutina de chequeo la obra, revisión de acabados, etc.

*Lo que aprendí mientras estuve ahí fue en la administración de una obra y sus respectivas complicaciones.

*La parte mas difícil fue a aprender a llevar el control de presupuesto ya que cuando entre a laborar yo, ya había pasado otra persona y tuvimos que revisar y/o completar la información que faltase.

*Lo que mas me gusto es el hecho de que fue un trabajo que me agrado ya que es algo referente a mi carrera. – less
