HOSPITAL SERVICE MANAGER (Current Employee) – Miami, FL – July 7, 2016
At Leon Medical Centers I found the opportunity to develop my skills and pursue a management career. I have learned the importance of providing the best service in order to achieve the desired prestige. Excellent administration, executive and general staff. The most enjoyable part of the daily work is the staff around you, each people supporting each other to make sure that at the end of the day the joc is completed as expected by the company. I love it!!!
health insurance, quarter bonuses, salary increase, overtime pay, great human beings
Excellent place to work, Working in a healthcare support facility, they provide information over the phone and to walk in customers. They also assist customers with locating items and providing basic medicine information. In addition, they are required to price medicines and ensure that proper filing is maintained of the prescriptions that have been filled.
Leon Medical (Former Employee) – Doral, FL – November 30, 2015
Great group of people that work as a family and provide excellent service to Miami's senior population. Lots of opportunities and chances to grow and learn as a en employee. Management treats employees with respect.

It is a good place to start and be there for a very long time if you have some "friends" inside. My experience overall has been positive but it is not the same among all people in there. Management is not the best one and company culture promotes neopotism. If you are connected you are the king. If not, just learn and start looking for a new starting.
Medical Records Clerk (Former Employee) – Doral, FL – July 17, 2015
I started off working as a temporary employee at Leon Medical Centers in the Medical Records department. After a few months of working in that position, I received amazing news. Being told that I had become an official employee in the company. This year I made 2 years of working in LMC. My experience has been phenomenal. I have learned a little bit of everything. From working with patients records and actually interacting with the actual patients. To working in the radiology department, creating cd’s & importing x-ray films. To being transferred to the Doral Corporate Center which I’m currently working in. Working in the Release of Information department. Dealing with attorney & insurance cases.
I am happy to read that you found our company to be a solid one as well as a good place to work. We value customer service and hold our employees to very high standards. Please feel free to contact me should you have any questions or concerns.
Walk in and check out what we have to work with. I worked in multiple stations in the warehouse of packaging. I helped with customer service of OTC (Over The Counter) orders and helped fill them. I worked with packaging of prescription medication and sorting these medications. Made sure the warehouse was a clean and safe workplace after taking inventory and stocking medications. Helped move boxes and had a lot of manual labor experience.
Bus Driver (Current Employee) – Miami, FL – December 1, 2014
My job consists in transporting Leon Medical Centers' patients from their home to hospitals and return them back home at the end of the day. All the patients I transport use wheelchairs; that makes my job more important to me. Since working there I have learned how to treat and help those in need. That is more than just work experience but a life changing perspective that is taught to me daily.
overall, working in Leon Medical Center is great thanks to all the patients and co-workers who make my days filled with joy.
Leon Medical Center is a place where not only the patients are being treated with human dignity and respect, but the employees too. The supervisors, managers, directors, and even the owners are aware that we are human all human beings and they have pride in that. I learned not only to be a good employee and to serve everyone with respect and dignity, but also to feel the same towards my co-workers and supervisors. The hardest part is when you cannot help your client because of Medicare issues; there is nothing you can do, yet the company never gives up the fight, and teach you how to have perseverance in everything you fight for.
Free health insurance, 2 weeks vacation & personal and sick days. Plus you get bonuses.
