Customer Service, Covina, CA - April 10, 2016
I previously worked at LERETA, LLC when they changed from LandAmerica to LERETA, LLC. When I got there, the organizational culture was wonderful! Busy, but still, you got a sense of caring from your team members and most management. When the transition took place, I immediately got the sense that the new higher ups did not care about their employees. There were pay cuts during the recession that were hard on people, but most people stuck around even then, maybe out of the necessity, but some out of loyalty. When new management came in the pay cuts were only partially reinstated. Before the new management took over, even when times were hard, the main guy in charge bought pizza out of his own pocket for all the employees in the Covina office for a festive day we would celebrate annually. I left because of the culture change but I never doubted that the company would survive the downturn but I had a feeling that the employees would not see wages raised proportionately to the company profits.
