Great place to have fun in style. If you like being around people and are interested in a denim focus clientele, Levis is a great place to gain some experience.

typical day involved either reveiwing time and motion studies or compiling the data to prove a pay standard. other days were filled in preparing for these studies by designing work station layout and sewing equipment to support the various operations.
I had a great boss and good support through out the plants.
Hardest part of the job was standing with – more...  a stop watch doing the time and motion studies.
The most enjoyable part was completing these studies and compiling the date to publish in an operations manual. – less

Bonne experience en vente en periode de solde notamment, tès bonne equipe mais malheureusement le management etait le plus souvent brouillon, nous ne savions pas qui etait le responsable conclusion nous etions laissé a l'abandon.

Levi Strauss is such a wonderful place to work! I was a temp there for a few months and learned so much. The people there are friendly and helpful. I wanted to be hired on, but there just wasn't a position available for me in the area where I was assigned. I would go back to Levi anytime!

Levi is a great place to learn and grow. I was working with a team that invovled in overseeing all testing and SAP ALM suite.

I spent 18 years at Levi's. The entire time I was there I enjoyed it. The opportunity to learn and advance was tremendous. I was able to work with every department and all level's of people there.

I have been with levi strauss for over a year now. Although the people are good, the job in itself is completely dead end. I have only received 40 hours once since working there. The management cannot seem to figure out where work is coming from or going and have apparently no knowledge of what it takes to build a proper working environment. Levi is – more...  a union job, but the union is a levi union. Its representatives ask for your bid once a year but from that point on you never see them and they do nothing for your so called rights. The pay is horrible for trying to raise or start a family and that is even if you get your hours. The pay increase is only once a year and is very low. Their are no incentives or bonuses and if you expect a little kick back or thank you come Christmas time...forget it. There is no room for advancement. Benefits are very expensive for not very good coverage. You only have one week a year to enroll. Any time beyond that you have to pay past premiums. Regardless if you get your hours or not, you owe that money. I have been trying for over a year to get benefits. I must do it online where it took several attempts and calls to india to get logged in. Once logged in my status says closed. It has been over a week now with this 2nd chance of enrollment and hr has yet to get back to me with anything. This being said, it will be two attempts to enroll in benefits that both times have given me closed status and nothing is done about it. I asked the hr rep on site and was rudely told to call hr direct, which again is in india. From what Im told levi used to be a great place to work. Great incentives and pay, and a company that really focused on its employees. I am currently still employed with levi but looking for any opportunity to move on. I offer this review to anyone looking for a job to not mark levi off your list, but to be cautious as to what you may be after in your career. If you are just passing by, or just need a job, or want easy work with really no strings attached. Then levi is a great place. Dont look to make alot ever, and dont look to advance. – less

Levi Strauss & Company is the workplace I measure all other workplaces against. The management treats you with respect and encourages you to advance in the company as your skill level increases. Teamwork was a big part of the L.S. & Co. culture, and the company even established periodic teamwork seminars for its employees.

The benefits package L.S. – more...  & Co. offered was the best I ever received, and the most flexible. The management never forgot their employees had a life outside the company, but in return you were expected to be there when the team needed you.

I would recommend this company to anyone who likes to work hard but not be worn out. The unofficial Levi's motto was "work hard - play hard." I loved working there. – less
