Premium catering server (Current Employee) –  Orlando, FLAugust 2, 2017
It's fun cause different things happen all the time , but sometimes it can be unorganized, and a lack of communication. You do get involved in a lot of VIP events so that's nice.

Productive days at work. Comfortable space to work at because of the co workers and the environment. You learn quickly and get used to the environment.

Cool job for extra cash
Suite Attendant (Former Employee) –  Houston, TXJuly 28, 2017
It's a typical server/waiter job but requires much more preparation work than anything else. You arrive about two hours before the game or event starts and prepare all the food/beverages for the suite. You're also required to take inventory of the suite's items before and after the event. It was somewhat physically demanding having to gather all of my own materials, food, utensils, etc. and if customers wanted to order food or drinks during the event, that was another task entirely.
Pros
watching professional sports games, eating the food the customers didn't touch
Cons
physically demanding, multiple suite management, rude patrons

Fun and rewarding, but work life balance suffers
Former Manager (Former Employee) –  Los Angeles, CAJuly 25, 2017
Overall, a pleasant and rewarding experience. LEVY provides a great opportunity to work on complex large scale events. The only downside is that work life balance suffers during the busy season.

Stressful Job
Concessions Supervisor (Current Employee) –  St. Louis, MOJuly 19, 2017
Fact of the matter is that its just a stressful job. There is a lot going on and not everyone can handle jobs like this. Expect to be on your feet for most of your day, and expect to never have the same schedule twice. Event driven work, and events have different times from week to week.
Pros
free lunches
Cons
Breaks are a second priority, hours are irregular

Great learning Environment. Compensation under market comparison.
Director of Purchasing (Current Employee) –  Los Angeles, CAJuly 10, 2017
Levy offers a ton of exposure in the Sports & Entertainment world. However, the compensation program is far under what would be standard for most markets. It's a great place to start in the hospitality industry, but much of the good talent moves on quickly because of the compensation.

It was exciting to work during playoffs
Suite Attendant (Former Employee) –  Miami, FLJuly 9, 2017
When the Heat were in the playoffs it was very exciting to work at the American Airlines Arena. You made good money and you got to experience the NBA games. The worst part was traveling back and forth to Miami.

productive and fun work place
Server (Former Employee) –  Atlanta, GAJuly 6, 2017
Enjoyed working with my team, other staff, supervisors and managers at the Georgia Dome for the last five consecutive years. My team always worked together to meet goals, the managers took extra time to train one on one with new employees and also gave useful tools to train new employees in routine work.

Supervisor In-Seat Service (Former Employee) –  Dallas, TXJune 26, 2017
Levy Restaurant in one of the leading companies in providing food services at sports arenas. Sadly, if you're in a supervisor position there isn't much more to the job than working the seasonal games of the franchise teams. Otherwise, it's a great experience with the season ticket holders. At times the sports fans are more respectful than the higher-up management.
Pros
Free meals, watching some of the games.
Cons
No advancement opportunities .
