Service Technician, Royersford, PA - March 16, 2016
The company overall is okay to work for. Working in the field is very demanding, you can expect to work from eight to fourteen hour days. If your new to the business the Spill team leads and certain supervisors are very knowledgeable so pay attention. I learned a tremendous amount of skills and techniques for each task that is preformed in the field. The hardest part of this job would be some days not knowing when you would come home due to the enormous volume of spills that come in daily. One critique would be for the mid level management and the upper management to work on communication. Also, from noticing a few things on how the company runs, it would be nice for a VP or president to check on employees once and a while. It would be nice to have a little better pay. Hard work should be praised more and also should compensated better. The most enjoyable part of this job would be all of the field staff are friendly and great to work with. This job isn't for everyone but if you do decide to choose Lewis, I would only recommend between one and five years. People tend to get burned out and lose interest by that time frame. Hopefully this in helpful to whom is interested in applying.
