Okay if you have thick skin.
Pros: great people, free food sometimes, nice cafeteria-like place for eating, respectable work environment
Cons: work/life balance, computer/system issues are constant, time off is few and far between
It's unfortunate, but in the call center, you have to let things roll off you. People don't generally call to say how happy they are with their insurance; they call cause they're having some sort of issue or problem. It's our job to deal with that in a friendly manner, but some people make that very, very difficult. Work life balance is awful unless you work 9-5, which is difficult to get. Taking time off is really difficult unless you know three months in advance that you need those days. The people who work there are amazing and they really believe in Liberty's mission, but it feels more like a bunch of people who have taken sips of the kool aid, if you know what I mean. If you dont fall in with them, it's really hard to keep going in day after day without realizing all the little things that are wrong. The biggest pro to this place is that for a call center, they pay the most of any place around, but its BECAUSE of all the bull you have to deal with. It's up to a person individually if the pay is worth that.
