Stereotypical temp work.
Machine Operator (Former Employee), Kitchener, ONJuly 23, 2014
Pros: freedom of shifts and hours. temporarty work giving a variety of work environments. paid weekly.
Cons: not permanent nor stable work.
Many jobs are temp-to-hire, but are very low level jobs. A permanent job is pretty much guaranteed eventually, but it will be entry level. Mostly all are general labour. Anything more than $12/hr is rare.

Office Clerk (Former Employee), Woodstock, ONJune 22, 2013
Pros: met lots of nice people and gained experience everywhere
Cons: the job was only available while the company was short staffed or behind
most of the jobs, I knew I'd be working for a set time, others could be just from day to day so it was hard to plan around.

Great but hard workplace
General Labour Worker (Current Employee), Brampton, ONDecember 3, 2012
Pros: could work whenever you wanted.
Cons: long crazy hours
A typical day at work would be lifting and labelling boxes for hours until shift was finished. I had a great time with my co-workers, management is great, they listen to what you have to say and is very understanding when you can't work a certain day. There isn't a hard part of the job, all of them are great. The things I learned is that you learn new – more... things everyday. – less
