I love what I do at Life Alert. I love saving lives. I love being proud of my work. And I love the skills it has taught me. It improved me in a lot of ways. Following strict company protocol has tested my memory, and crazy hours have tested my energy. I always found a way to push through and meet the expectations I set for myself when I started working there. Unfortunately the only thing missing at this place is unity. There is no teamwork and moral is extremely low. It has more to do with power hungry upper management than anything. It isn't the type of work environment where you look out for one another. It is a worry about yourself type of place. I have always worked in "team" oriented environments. And though I love working on my own I also like knowing that I can count on my fellow employees, leads, and supervisors to all want to help each other for the benefit of the company.
Its sad really, because it's such an amazing job. Amazing pay, flexible hours. It's just not a happy place.
