I spent two years selling Insurance for this company. My typical day was cold-calling, going to business events to build relationships, and making phone calls to prospects, for the purpose of setting meetings. The company and products were great, and my manager was very intelligent on the subject. Unfortunately, he wa probably 5-10 minutes late to nearly every meeting I set for him. This is ultimately the reason I left. I confronted my manager about being late, and he got very angry with me.
I felt like I needed to work with someone who took their customers seriously. This is the reason I left.
did not get paid very much
