About LifeStream
LifeStream is a tax-exempt, not-for-profit organization that offers programs to help seniors and people of all ages with disabilities to live as independently as possible. Services are provided through six LifeStream offices in East Central Indiana. Our executive team, led by Kenneth D. Adkins, President / CEO, directs more than 100 helpful and professional – more... personnel to meet the mission of helping people at risk of losing their independence.
LifeStream was established in 1975 as an Area Agency on Aging, through the Older Americans Act, to provide comprehensive services for older adults in Blackford, Delaware Grant, Henry, Jay, Madison and Randolph counties in East Central Indiana. Services were later expanded to include people with disabilities. Our progressive, award-winning organization is governed by a board of directors from the communities we serve.
Revenue for programs is provided by federal and state sources, primarily with service contracts with the state, and is supplemented by private-pay services, tax-deductible donations and bequests. – less – More from ZoomInfo »
